Being queer in today’s world can be TOUGH, and constantly having to explain your identity to your therapist definitely doesn’t make it any easier. As a fellow queer, I am passionate about working within the LGBTQ+ community. You may be struggling to find your place in the community or finding it hard to surround yourself with a support system that feels safe and validating. You may be struggling to figure out your relationships- maybe you are overwhelmed at the thought of finding a partner, maintaining your relationship(s), or managing conflicting sex drives. Or maybe you need an outlet to talk about how much the world, capitalism, people, etc. can suck and process what that means for you.

I’ll start by spending some time getting to know you, your life, and what brings you into therapy. Then we’ll sit down together and come up with a plan that feels right for addressing your needs and goals. I tend to incorporate mindfulness, coping skills, storytelling, trauma-work and more. As an artist, I also want to know about what you’re reading and watching. The art we consume and how we relate to it can provide a hidden look into ourselves. I come in with an open mind, ready to listen, validate, and challenge or push where necessary. Therapy isn't easy. If it was, everyone would do it. There will be challenges and laughter, I'll be here with you every step of the way.
